Today for lunch I decided to get frisky and instead of ordering a chef salad, I decided to go with the Cobb Salad. I figured Cobb meant it had some corn in it. I was wrong.
Apparently Cobb is code for huge icky blue bleu cheese pieces throughout a plate of weeds. IF you are unfamiliar with blue bleu cheese…it looks moldy, smells like dirty gym socks…and makes me want to hurl. And instead of lettuce…you get stuff that looks like weeds. Nothing lettuce-y in there.
So…I sit here at work…HUNGRIER than ever…sweltering in the evil heat…with only luke warm water because I had to go to petmart today to get some Beagle some birthday presents and didn’t have time to stop off at starbucks for my usual venti iced black tea.
Oh what a heinous day indeed.
Update: This makes it sound like I am a fussy eater. I am not. Except when it comes to smelly icky cheese that looks like it is moldy and smells.very.bad. Maybe it is moldy…I just know that it doesn’t agree with me…and if I knew that code for Cobb in advance I would have had my usual ranch chicken chef salad and would not be sitting here hungry. It smelled so bad I had to throw it away in the boss’s garbage as to not smell it.

*note to self* Read blogs carefully, otherwise one might mistake the phrase “get frisky and instead of ordering a chef salad” for the phrase “get frisky and interested in ordering a def child”
…which has no particular meaning of which I’m aware, but if it had one it would CERTAINLY be naughty and wrong.

Bleu cheese is nummers. I just prefer NOT to think about what t is. In fact I do that with about 90% of the food I eat.
It’s just better that I don’t think too hatd about it.
