I always just treated the lyrics as one of those great Lennon word poems, along the lines of <a href="http://www.stevesbeatles.com/songs/happiness_is_a_warm_gun.asp" rel="nofollow">Happiness is a Warm Gun</a>, or <a href="http://www.stevesbeatles.com/songs/i_am_the_walrus.asp" rel="nofollow">I am the Walrus</a>. I never try to actually decipher them. I just listen to the words, take what images I can, or even just listen to the rhythm of the words. Of course, it <i>may</i> be about <i>something</i>.
