Got a new contract. Tony's leaving Gibbs after this season, has already agreed to purchase majority interest in HAAS and will be benefiting from the alliance HMS has with HAAS in the area of engines & development. Also, Martin Truex will be joining Tony's new company. Ain't official yet, but it's a done deal. She is so far out of the loop that she gets her "facts" from the Thats Racin' dot com Auto Racing Forums and Yahoo Answers. She obviously hasn't realized that most NASCAR journalists have backed away from the rumor that Smoke will be leaving Gibbs before the end of 2009.
