I think I have done this one before but I figured what the heck I would do it again. Six things about me…tagged kinda sorta by Andrea:

1. I have a bizarre tendancy to block print. It stems back to my days as a childhood perfectionist having trouble mastering the fine art of “cursive” in grammar school. I was traumatized by the fact that I couldn’t get my letters to be pretty enough that as soon as I got outta the grades that required “cursive” I block printed. Something I still do to this day- unless I am pressed for time- then I have been known to slop out a letter here and there.

2. I have a strange fascination with European style board games. Unfortunately I am pretty much the only one I know who really LOVES to play boardgames (save for a small group of us nerds at work who occassionally get together and play games in an empty classroom during lunch).

3. When I am really angry I cry. Doesn’t matter where I am (including work and a gas station in the middle of nowhere while YELLING at a customer service guy on the phone -something that as someone who works customer service I almost never do…but they really deserved it and have lost my business) nor does it matter who is around me (random clients and coworkers, my best friends preteen brother whom I am transporting from hither to yon, family, whoever) Then I get mad at myself for crying and cry more. Its really an ugly cycle. Unfortunately I know that its hard to take a crying person seriously and then this pisses me off even more…and yep..lather, rinse, and repeat. Luckily- it takes a lot to make me “really angry.”

4. I have fired a rifle (.22) at a target and am a fairly good shot. The rifle was by best guestimates approximately 60 years old…possibly even older. Use to be my grandpa’s now its my dad’s and I am sure it will go to my brother. I also will admit that I enjoyed doing it…at a target. I don’t think I could purposely shoot a little fuzzy woodland creature. Unless I was really hungry and lost in the wilds.

5. I lose my atm card more than anyone I know. It’s not something I do on purpose. It’s rather inconvenient frankly- but I am probably on my third one this year (or I will be as soon as I get it in the mail). The problem is that I use it instead of a checkbook for instore purchases and writing checks makes me feel like the people in the visa check card commercials where people are dancing in and out of the store until someone has to stop and write a check. That is me right now.

6. I absolutely love my Chevy HHR. Not that I didn’t love my little Toyota Rav-4 because I totally did. That little Rav was impressively reliable, but it was little and the HHR is bigger and roomier. Plus I feel that with my budget I got a little bit more car with my money in the HHR. Plus the hhr’s engine purrs just like my first car’s (A 1990 Chevy Lumina- think Days of Thunder- my parents gave it to me in 1995). Yes I still want to paint flames on it. I have decided on graphite colored ones…but still don’t know who to have do it.
