Monday’s Not My Funday
Posted by in GeneralToday is a crazy busy monday at work…and I won’t even be able to work on the Chase Race 2 until tonight at the earliest as I left my notes at home (guess I will have to leave the office for lunch afterall).
On top of that add:
- insomnia again-I think I have gotten a good night’s sleep two of the last seven nights. It would have been three but alas helicopters and farmers conspired against me. I was awoken at 3:30 am sunday morning by crop dusters. It was like trying to sleep on a helipad. Or I assume that is what it was like because honestly I have never even been to a helipad so I wouldn’t know. It was like having helicopters coming and going on the roof of my house for hours. Right above my bedroom. There really ought to be a law against cropdusting fields at crazy morning hours if the field is right next to a residential neighborhood. I can’t imagine I was the only one this racket disturbed.
- general malaise (I think my brother might have gotten me sick with his cold. Thanks for that! urg). I am tired and have developed a lovely dry hack. Whether due to my lovely brother coming over yesterday and spreading his germs throughout the house or from being cropdusted on…the cough looks like it is here to stay.
- being stuck at work when I really wanted to take a half day off today and take my nephew to see Tony Stewart’s show car….even though honestly he wouldn’t be old enough to remember it- it would make a darling picture.
- being stuck at work today alone when its crazy busy again and I am getting ready to pull my hair out. Urg.

I was awoken at 430 am by what I’m sincerely hoping was a dream, as it involved a mouse on my bed, running along side me and then jumping off the end and scrabbling along the wall. Dream, right?
