As long as a driver is in the top 12, the actual position means very little given the points re-set when the Chase starts. So even though the 39 technically "dropped" to 9th, the team bettered their odds of making the Chase by increasing the points spread between them and 13th. Update on the Swagger commercial--When Tony was racing in USAC he often had to skip paying for a meal in order to afford gas to get to the next race. Now the turkey leg and the tray of money make more sense in showing that he is better off after using Swagger. I want that Swagger shirt, too. Smoke was back in the candy-apple red car.
