You are probably asking yourself why it has taken me so long to write about the Mobil-1 Seat Swap between NASCAR’s Tony Stewart and Formula 1′s Lewis Hamilton. Well the main reason is that Kevin wrote a great first hand article about being in attendance at the swap so I didn’t want to overshadow his article. I admit- I was jealous. I would have loved to attend but since I didn’t have any first born to sell to get there I would have to be content to watch on TV (thankfully it was broadcast on SPEEDTV) and on twitter (thanks to @StewartHaasRcng for keeping us people in other places up to date with the swap).
After seeing it? I am even more jealous! What an awesome event! Don’t believe me? Check it out for yourself:
I absolutely love this picture from the swap. Both Lewis and Tony are smiling huge smiles. But Tony looks like a little kid with an endless supply of money in a candy store- doesn’t he?

This would be an awesome picture to have hanging on your wall don’t you think? I would love one- autographed by both drivers and framed up nicely. Of course I don’t have one – but I can dream right?

Anyway- here is a great photo album from the event.
And Tony? The next time you go and do something this uber cool? Can you do it on the west coast so I can watch? (Get your minds out of the gutter people)
